There are so many amazing locations to have a photo shoot in the DC Metro area! Whether you are hoping for a picture by the water, a forest trail, or an urban enviornment, let's find the perfect fit for you photography session! Below are some places I've held photo shoots in the past to inspire you.

Locations
Bolivar Heights is by far one of my favorite places to have a photography shoot. It offers stunning mountain backdrops, beautiful fields, and the sun streaming through the trees at sunset.
Beth's Photo "Tour"
There are roughly 4-6 locations in Lovettsville and Purcellville that I love to visit on the tour. These locations provide beautiful backdrops and allow for a variety of shots! You hop in my car and we go on the tour together! Works best for senior, engagement, and maternity shoots.

Downtown Leesburg offers the best of both worlds - beautiful gardens and adorable urban streets. It's a great location for Senior Pictures and Engagement photo shoots!
Sleeter Lake is a beautiful location with sparkling waters and rolling mountains. Perfect for a sunset shoot!

A beautiful park with trees, benches, a gable, and a small garden. Particularly gorgeous in the fall!
Manassas Battlefield Park & Bull RunPark
There are two fantastic locations at Manassas Battlefield. One provides a stone bridge and forest trails. The other, a two minute drive down the road, has a rustic stone house and a hill-top field.
Harper's Ferry
West Virginia
Harper's Ferry is a fun place for a photo shoot due to it's historic streets and riverside location. It's best visited in the fall, spring, and summer!
Walney & EC Lawrence Park
Centreville, VA
This location provides lots of different backgrounds in one, convenient location. Perfect for families!
Franklin Park has wooded areas, an adorable lake at the bottom, and a stunning hilltop field.

Red Rock Wilderness Overlook
Red Rock Overlook is a great place for those who love the woods, ruins, and the water. It is about a 5-10 minute walk and it's best on sunny days!
Virginia State Arboretum, Boyce VA
The Arboretum is one of my favorite locations. It offers so many beautiful backdrops in one location. It's great for families with small children!
